Members of the Tangaliya and Patola Artisans Federation have come together to secure their cultural heritage by creating fine woven and embroidered cotton textiles. This craft is known to only a few, and unfortunately, most live in such remote villages that they have no way to sell their goods. We want to provide them with one-on-one training so they can learn new designs and skills and understand ways to sell their goods in the city and online.
£300 will fund the training, design and purchase of finished goods that can be sold online via the Shanti Life marketplace. All funds are recycled into the community so that they can scale their businesses.
Target of 100 loans impacting 1000 people = £ 30,000
